About poking, staring and limits in life.

Hello my friends! This week I was chosen to run our blog and I don’t know exaclty what to write here, so I decided to write about something we learned in the past Tuesday: body language. They always show how you’re feeling in the moment, just watch. When you’re nervous, you usually scratch your head, touch your ear or rub your neck. Or when you’re bored, you fold your arms and tap your fingers on the table or something. It’s completely normal. There are also some annoying habits, like poking.

It reminds me of a guy that doesn’t give you enough space and usually stares and pokes people while talking to them. All-the-time. I feel a little uncomfortable with this because I’m not used to it and it’s a little annoying (and I’m not the only one who thinks like this). Okay, it’s how he is, what can I do? Otherwise, I know a girl that is the opposite of him. I mean, she doesn’t like anybody to touch her, even when somebody wants to give her a hug (sometimes it reminds me of Sheldon Cooper, from The Big Bang Theory). She starts screaming and she gets really upset whit this. I think it’s stupid and I don’t understand why. Who doesn’t like hugs? But, again, what can we do? We have to respect her space, haven’t we?

I know I am contradicting myself, but the thing is… this thought leads me to reflecting that everything in life has its measure, good and bad things. Do you understand what I mean? Imagine life only with good things. When you mix good and bad things, you start to learn what happiness really is. This limit is what gives life a balance and make good moments really special.

I’m not a good writer (I guess you have already notice that). I started talking about body language and finished my post talking about limits in life, it makes no sense. Anyway, I hope you like it. See ya.

  1. Fantastic!!! I felt really proud as I was reading what you left for us. That´s the idea: to use what you´ve learned and show it´s effective. Congrats, Fernanda
